Today, Marije and I went for a walk in MacMillan Provincial Park, some 60 kms from Nanaimo. This park is famous for its ‘Cathedral Grove’, an old growth forest with tall trees, one of which goes up to 76 metres. All in all a lovely walk, albeit a bit busy.

Yes they are evergreen here, greener even than in the summertime when it was quite dry in comparison.
