Lots of animals eat, fly, walk and sleep in our backyard, and while all of them are welcome and interesting, one of them is entertaining as well, the California quail:
These little birds come into our yard as a family group, and one of the males usually picks a spot on the fence to look out for danger.
I don’t get out of the house half as much as I’d like these days, so I’m quite pleased when the wildlife comes to visit me instead.

Beautiful bird. Overhere you see them in the zoo or birds like this one. Nice from them that they visit you in the yard.👍
